Melanie and Richard James of Coburn Iberians in Rangiora are proud to announce the arrival of a healthy colt carrying the valuable bloodlines of international dressage star Fuego XII. The colt, which is yet to be named was born on the night of 7. July to their imported mare Carmen HGF, by Bolero CXLVIII, who is a son of Uterano III, like Fuego XII and already successfully campaigned in dressage in the USA. Photo: Bolero CXLVIII

Dear Stallion Owner, Please can you let me know by 31 October how many mare cover forms (Breeding and Birth certificates) you will need for your stallion for the 2009 year. Please detail the stallion's name, codigo no., and date of birth. Please note these forms will be issued in the name of the stallion and are not transferable to another stallion. You should apply for issue of these forms in advance of breeding for each PRE mare your stallion will, or may, cover this season until 31 December 2009.
We will need to send this information to ANCCE, so they can issue the forms, specifically for your stallion for the year 2009 (Jan - December). You only need to tell us the number of forms you need for PRE mares to be covered from 1. Jan - 31. December 2009. We do not need to know the details of the mares for this application.
These forms incur a cost of $10 per form (with member discount) or $30 (without member discount), and must be issued whether or not the mare becomes pregnant. Please note we will not be issuing any forms unless we receive payment. You can send a cheque made out to ACPRE NZ for this cost, or deposit the amount in the association bank account (please let me know if you need these details).
NB: These forms are important - they are the breeding and birth certificates that are needed throughout the process of breeding and then later inscribing the foal.

New Educational DVDs Available |

Two new educational DVDs are now available from ACPRE NZ Inc. 3DVD series about PRE morphology, riding, Spanish culture and more. This DVD series has been kindly donated by Marie Christiansen of Wellington and is available to members only to be borrowed on a 2 weeks basis. 6DVD recording of the 2008 seminar given by Ignacio Bravo during his visit to New Zealand. This DVD is available for purchase to anyone interested to learn more about PRE morphology, history and in hand and ridden training. Please go to the merchandise section for further details. |

ACPRE NZ Decision to Hold Fees, March 2009 |

The Association have been monitoring the exchange rate with the Euro in relation to our fee structure and ANCCE fees. The NZ dollar has decreased significantly against the Euro over the past year. The committee is pleased to announce that we have decided to maintain the current fee structure for now and ACPRE NZ will cover any shortfalls arising from ANCCE services in the eantime. We will keep you updated if this position needs to change. |
